Jerome Le Banner (JLB) is one of the most talented and popular athletes of the combat sports world. He holds several world and european heavyweight titles in kick-boxing, muay thai and full contact. Considered as one of the biggest punchers in kick-boxing history, JLB is one of the most famous K-1 fighters and by extension the best known kickboxer in the world.
Since 2006, his charisma and his natural acting qualities attracted a lot of movie producers. So, 'Geronimo' (as the fans call him) will feature in several movies from 2007. (Scorpion, Astérix aux Jeux olympiques, Babylon AD, Disco...)

Japan’s new Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organization, “RIZIN,” announced the match-up between Jerome Le Banner and Estonian Baruto Kaito for the year-end MMA event held at Saitama Super Arena. Featured in various websites, the news of the match-up spread instantly. However, despite RIZIN’s claim that a contract was signed, no signatures could be found on any of the Fight Agreements, and no approval was received. While discussions were held, no formal agreements were made.
Jerome Le Banner’s pre-existing injury, for which he had delayed having surgery, began to ache again during practice sessions on December 22nd and 23rd. Le Banner presented his MRI as proof of his inability to participate in the fight, and was in no condition to fight regardless of regardless of discussions.
RIZIN alleges that a contract was signed, and threatened to take legal action to force Le Banner to fight. However, as proceedings were not respected, Le Banner did not participate.
Jerome Le Banner wishes to fight one last match in Japan, if feasible, against the Inoki Genome Federation (IGF). Jerome has much respect for Antonio Inoki’s federation, which is involved in various charitable activities, including providing aid to tsunami victims.
Details regarding Le Banner’s match in Japan will be announced in 2016.

Samedi 5 mars 2016, il organisera le gala du MFC 4 (Muaythaï Fighting Championship) à Saint-Priest prêt de Lyon et combattra également lors de cette soirée face au Thaïlandais Panom TopKing Boxing pour le titre mondial W.M.C. des -76 kg. L'événement sera diffusé sur L'Equipe 21 à 22h30. Jérôme Le Banner sera l'invité spécial de cette grande soirée qui marquera le début des Dark Fights 2016.
Le 31 décembre dernier, Jérôme Le Banner était l'invité d'honneur surprise de l'Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye, le gala d'Arts martiaux/Pro Wrestling du nouvel an organisé par Antonio Inoki. Un événement qui a vu l'anglais Oli Thompson remporter le titre des poids lourds de l'IGF (Inoki Genome Federation) dans les règles MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) avec une ceinture spécialement remise par Jérôme Le Banner.

Admiratif, je tenais à partager l'exploit de Julien Conti, athlète né non voyant qui a participé et terminé la Spartan Race de Paris en compagnie de son binôme qui est un ami de Genève, Claudio Alessi, qui l'aide et le soutient. Un vrai exploit quand on connait la dureté de cette course extrême. Par ailleurs, Claudio Alessi participera au Festival de Paris Bercy le 26 mars 2016.
